WSSU CREU Weekly Report #9: Literature Review

This week we focused on doing some literature reviewing. The articles revolved around past research and studies on the learning styles of programming students, how self-motivation plays a role in their success, and how the usage of different strategies such as competition affected student learning outcomes. The information gathered from this reading will be used as a basis for the introduction to our final paper. Due to this currently pertaining mostly to the introduction, we have already began to construct this section of the paper. Team member, Haven, continuously researched new articles throughput the semester that could be used for our study. In order to work on the paper simultaneously and offer relevant feedback to one another, we have started a draft of the paper on Google Docs. The information gathered from the articles should supplement our own findings and add to the credibility of our research.
