As this was the week before finals, it was fitting to finish wrapping up certain aspects of our research. Students have completed the programming contests, and all quizzes and tests have been administered aside from the Programming I final. Once the students complete their final, a complete measurement of their progress in the course can be obtained and utilized as a part of our final results. We will be able to use the data to answer the fourth specific question pertaining to our research: Is there any significance difference in the retention of programming concepts in students enrolled in the traditional laboratory session and students enrolled in the competition lab sessions? All other data has been accounted for and is ready for any final analysis that may need to be done before completing the research report for publication. The team is currently working on constructing the first draft of the research report.
