WSSU CREU Weekly Report #16: Delegation of Tasks, New Data
This week team members were delegated tasks to increase productivity. Tasks included continuing to work on the introduction to the final report, inserting new data into the spreadsheets for the Programming I class, analyzing the data, and drawing conclusions from the results. New data includes the final quizzes and tests the students were administered right before the end of last semester. This new data is important in understanding just how much students have improved since the beginning of the course. Seeing how many of the students have successfully made it to Programming II, it can be assumed that there was improvement. But what we are focusing on is whether or not implementing programming competitions helped them complete the course successfully and increase knowledge retention.
