WSSU CREU Weekly Report #17: Preparing for Conference

Like last year, this year we plan on attending the ADMI Symposium. This year it will be held in New Orleans from April 5th-11th. In order to take part we hard to register and fill out forms pertaining to personal information and how we plan on participating in the conference. As of now, Haven and I will be doing poster presentations, and Lisa will be doing an oral presentation on our research. We will also be participating in the Olympiad competition during the weekend event. Before we could be placed in the event we had to submit a copy of our abstract. We briefly discussed how we each would prefer travel arrangements. I would highly prefer to fly since it would be my first time on a plane and it would be on my birthday.
